Obverse: Lamb of God standing left, his head looking right, banner on cruciform staff behind, IOh’REX below, all within a circle ornated with trefoils, outer legend: +AGn⸰ DEI⸰ QVI⸰ TOLL’⸰PECA⸰ mVDI⸰ mISERERE⸰ nOB’, pellet in annulet stops.
Reverse: + XP’C: VInCIT: XP’C: REGNAT: XP’C: IMPERAT, double quatrefoil stops, ornate cross fleurée with rosette at centre, fleur-de-lis in quarters, all within quadrilobe with fleur-de-lis in spandrels

A superb strongly struck example with a pleasing old cabinet tone, very few of these popular Agnus Dei types enter Mint State, rendering the present specimen a conditional rarity sure to appeal to selective collectors of Medieval French gold. Has been graded and slabbed by NGC as MS 62
