Obverse: Fine style crowned bust in elaborate dress facing left, mint mark star, with Latin legend and outer toothed border surrounding; *ELIZABETH. D.G. ANG. FRA. ET. HIB. REGINA
Reverse: Crowned quartered shield of arms, frosted inner band to the crown, E in left field, R in right, with Latin legend and outer toothed border surrounding:  .*SCVTVM. FIDEI. PROTEGET. EAM.
5.67 grams, 31 mm in diameter
S.2543; N2019/3; Schneider 758; Borden and brown 3. (Borden and Brown noted 8 specimens from these dies, with a total of just 45 known from all dies.
Struck on the "new" milled machinery, by the Frenchman Elloye Mestrelle.
Practically extremely fine, struck on a large full milled flan showing a superb portrait and a deep reddish golden tone, with a reverse die cud at 10 o’clock, Rare.
Has been slabbed and graded by NGC as AU58, which in our opinion is under graded!
