Light coinage (1465-70), London mint. 
Mint Mark Long Cross Fitchee (1469-70).
Obverse: King standing in ship holding sword & shield, ship rigging with three ropes to left, only one rope to right, E on flag at stern, rose flower on hull, trefoil stops both sides. Mint mark Long Cross Fitchee on reverse only. Beaded circle and legend surrounding: ED WARD’x DEIx GRA’x REX AnGL. Z. FRAnCx. xDnSx IxB’x x
Reverse: Rose flower at centre on sunburst, over cross with lis terminals, crown over lion in each angle, all within beaded and linear tressure of eight arcs, with small trefoils in spandrels, beaded circle and Latin legend surrounding: IhC’x AVT’x TRAnSIEnS  PER x mEDIVm  ILLORVIBAT+

A bold good very fine with a pleasing portrait, struck on a full size large flan, with an attractive golden cabinet tone.
