Obverse: Third laureate and draped bust facing left, S style ties at rear of bust, value behind, with Latin legend and beaded borders surrounding on both sides: IACOBVS D: G: MAG: BRI: FRA: ET HIB: REX.
Reverse: Long cross fourchee over crowned quartered shield of arms, terminal mark rose, no stops in Latin legend surrounding: FACIAM EOS IN GENTEM VNAM
