Obverse: Second crowned armoured half-length bust facing right, holding orb and sceptre, with beaded circles and Latin legend surrounding: .IACOBVS. D: G: MAG: BRIT: FRAN: ET. HIB: REX.
Reverse: Crowned quartered shield of arms, I to left, R to right, with Latin legend surrounding: .FACIAM. EOS. IN. GENTEM. VNAM.

37 mm in diameter, 9.84 grams.
Very well struck for the issue, on a large full round flan, displaying the intricate and elaborate detail in the Kings armour, along with a very detailed portrait, minor marks/hairlines upon the obverse otherwise a bold good very fine/ near extremely fine with a pleasing golden lustrous tone.

*This is widely recognised as one of the scarcer types in the Unite series.
