Reverse: Large R at centre of ornamental floriated cross with lis terminals, crowned leopards in angles, all within a beaded and linear tressure, fleurs in spandrels, with Latin legend surrounding: +IhCx’ AVTEmxx TRAnSIEnSxx PERxx mEDIVx’ ILLORVxx IBAT
7.67 grams, 34 mm in diameter.
Very well struck for the issue, on a full large broad flan showing a superb fine style portrait, rare as such.
Has been graded and slabbed by NGC as MS 64 (*with only one other graded higher as a MS 64+).
