Obverse: King standing in ship with upright sword and quartered shield, ropes 3/1, beaded circle with Latin legend surrounding: RIC ARDx Dix GRAx REXx AnGL’ xZx FRAnC DnSx hIBx xZx AQ’T
Reverse: Large R at centre of ornamental floriated cross with lis terminals, crowned leopards in angles, all within a beaded and linear tressure, fleurs in spandrels, with Latin legend surrounding:  +IhCx’ AVTEmxx TRAnSIEnSxx PERxx mEDIVx’ ILLORVmxx IBAT

Very well struck for the issue, on a full large broad flan showing a better than usual portrait, rare as such.
