Obverse: Bare head facing left, with raised BM on the truncation for the Australian sculptor and Medalist Bertram Mackennal, with Latin legend and toothed border surrounding: GEORGIVS V. DG. BRITT: OMN: REX. FD. IND: IMP: 
Reverse: Art Deco stylised St George and dragon left, raised PM initials to lower right for the engraver Percy Metcalfe, denomination with the date (1935) above.
Edge: Inscribed in incuse letters: DECUS ET TUTAMEN. ANNO REGNI XXV. 
39 mm in diameter.

Practically as struck, with a pleasing tone, some minor light contact marks.
