About as struck, a few light marks/hairlines as often with the issue, some minor rubbing to the higher relief, otherwise showing an attractive cameo-like effect.

*These plain edge Proof Gold Five Pounds were produced to celebrate the Coronation of King George VI, which took place on the 12thMay 1937. With a mintage of only 5,501 pieces, they were technically patterns, as they did not have a milled edge like earlier issued Gold Five Pounds of previous reigns.
