Obverse: Laureate head facing left, with Latin legend and toothed border surrounding: GEORGIVS. II. DEI. GRATIA.
Reverse: Crowned quartered shield of arms, incorporating the Arms of Hanover, date either side of crown, with Latin legend surrounding: M.B.F. ET. HIB. REX. F.D. B. ET. L. D. S.R.I.A.T. ET. E.
31 mm in diameter, 16.8 grams.
Attractively toned showing much mint brilliance, some slight surface marks, otherwise practically extremely fine with a great portrait.
