Obverse: Old veiled head facing left, T.B. below for the engraver Thomas Brock, with Latin legend surrounding and toothed border around rim: VICTORIA. DEI. GRA. BRITT. REG. 
Reverse: Crowned quartered spade shaped shield of arms, within Order of the Garter, date either side of St George at bottom, denomination HALF to left, CROWN to right, upper half with Latin legend: FID. DEF. IND. IMP.

Lightly toned with lustre, minor surface marks as usual for the issue, otherwise practically uncirculated and a scarce date for the series.
