CAESAR – DIVI F, across fields.
20 mm in diameter, 2.4 grams.
A scarce early type example of the soon to become first Emperor of Rome where Octavian proclaims to be ‘Son of a God’ (DIVI FILIUS), showing superb detail on both sides and of good metal, with a pleasing old cabinet tone, practically extremely fine, scarce.
