Obverse: King standing in ship with upright sword and quartered shield, ships rigging three ropes to the left and one to the right, beaded circle and Latin legend surrounding; E/DWAR’x  DEIx G’x REXx AIIGL’x 7x FRAIIC D.
Reverse: Closed E at centre of ornamental floriated cross with lis terminals, pellet at either side of the lis ending the top arm, crowns over lions in angles, all within a beaded and linear tressure, pellet trefoils in spandrels, with Latin legend surrounding: +DOmInENEx INx Inxx FVROREx TVOx ARGVASx mE
