*From the famous T’ Vliegenthart (Flying Heart) shipwreck.
The T’ Vliegenthart was an East Indiaman ship which sank on 3rd February 1735, shortly after departing Rammekens for the East Indies, when she hit a sand bank and sank.
All hands were lost in just 10 fathoms of water.
In 1981 Rex Cowan re-discovered the wreck and in 1983 they found the first of three chests, full of coins.
