Edward III Gold Leopard d'Or MS 62, Anglo-Gallic Coinage 
Third issue from July 1357, Bordeaux mint, mint mark cross pattée.
Obverse: crowned leopard walking left, within tressure of ten arcs, quatrefoil of pellets in spandrels and on cusps, mullet in one spandrel, beaded circles and Latin legend surrounding: +EDVVARDVSxx DEIxx GRAxx AnGLIExx FRANCIExx REX.
Reverse: Floriate ornamented cross with six pellets in central compartment, leopards over pierced quatrefoils in angles, all within cartouche, voided quatrefoils in spandrels, with Latin legend and beaded borders surrounding: +XPCxx VINCITxx XPCxx REGNATxx XPCxx IMPERAT.

A boldly struck and highly attractive example with lustrous surfaces, rare.
Has been graded and slabbed by NGC as MS 62. *The only example currently graded as MS 62 with NGC, with only one in a higher grade.
