Group II, type 2a, smaller horse with cross on housings, mint mark: portcullis- 1633-4
Obverse: King on horseback facing left, wearing armor, holding sword in right hand, with Latin legend surrounding: CAROLVS D.G. MA; BR: FR: ET HI. RE.X
Reverse: Oval garnished shield with CR at sides, with Latin legend surrounding: CHRISTO AVSPICE REGNO
S.2769, Brooker 317-319 Variant 
33 mm in diameter, 9.7 grams.
Well struck for the issue, with a bold portrait and pleasing tone, an interesting type possibly a mule Variety? very fine.
