William and Mary 1689 Silver Halfcrown
Obverse: First conjoined busts right, with toothed border and Latin legend surrounding: GVLIELMVS. ET. MARIA. DEI. GRATIA
Reverse: Second crowned quartered shield of arms with an escutcheon of the Lion of Nassau, caul only frosted with pearls on crown band, date either side of crown, with toothed border and Latin legend surrounding: .MAG. BR. FR. ET. HIB. REX. ET. REGINA. (with inverted N in last word).
Edge inscribed in raised letters: .+. DECVS. ET. TVTAMEN. ANNO. REGNI. PRIMO 
14.71 grams, 34 mm in diameter.

Attractively toned with some flecking and blemishes, a bold very fine and a scarce variety.
