Light coinage (1465-70) London mint
Obverse: King standing in ship holding sword & shield, ship rigging with three ropes to left, only one rope to right, E on flag at stern, rose flower on hull, trefoil stops both sides. Mint mark crown on reverse only. Beaded circle and legend surrounding: ED xx WARD x DI x GRA’x REX x AnGLx Z x FRAn’ CDnS xIx b’ x
Reverse: Rose flower at centre on sunburst, over cross with lis terminals, crown over lion in each angle, all within beaded and linear tressure of eight arcs, with large fleurs in spandrels, beaded circle and Latin legend surrounding: IhC’x AVT’x TRAnSIEnS x PER x mEDIVm x ILLORVm xx I BAT

A superb detailed example, showing a great portrait, with an attractive all over deep golden tone.
