*These original long sets are now becoming rather hard to find in such a high-grade state and are commanding prices at auction well in excess of catalogue values.

**With a mintage of only 8,066 sets. This year is the only time a matt finish set has ever been produced thus far for a Coronation. The engraver was George William De Saulles who also produced Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee Royal Mint medallions of 1897 with the same matt finish.
