Second Coinage (1604-19) mint mark Rose (1605-6), London mint.
Obverse: Second crowned armoured half-length bust facing right, holding orb and sceptre, with beaded circles and Latin legend surrounding: .IACOBVS. D: G: MAG: BRIT: FRAN: ET. HIB: REX.
Reverse: Crowned quartered shield of arms, I to left, R to right, with Latin legend surrounding: .FACIAM. EOS. IN. GENTEM. VNAM.
Schneider 23; N.2083; S.2618. 
37 mm in diameter, 9.9 grams.
Very well struck on a large full round flan, displaying the intricate and elaborate detail in the Kings armour, along with a very detailed portrait, Extremely fine with a pleasing deep golden tone.
