Obverse: Standing facing figure of Edward the Black Prince within ornate Gothic portico, holding sword and pointing finger, two leopards couchant at feet, four ostrich quills around, Latin legend with quatrefoil stops and linear circles surrounding: .ЄD ⁑PO ⁑ GNS ⁑ RЄG ANGL ⁑ PNCS ⁑ AQ
