Charles II silver Hammered Halfcrown of Thirty Pence
Third hammered issue (1661-62).
Mintmark Crown, (both sides).
Obverse: Crowned bust facing left, value XXX in field behind, with Latin legend and toothed borders surrounding: CAROLVS. II. D: G: MAG: BR: FR: ET. HIB: REX.
Reverse: Long cross fourchée over quartered shield of arms, with Latin legend and toothed borders surrounding: .CHRISTO. AVSPICE. REGNO.

Lustrous with a pleasing tone, especially on the obverse, showing a pleasing depiction of the king, for this usually weakly struck issue, good very fine for the issue.
