George III Gold Guinea, 1770, One of the rarest dates in this reign. 
Obverse: Third laureate head facing right, with Latin legend surrounding: GEORGIVS .III DEI.GRATIA.
Reverse: Crowned garnished quartered shield of arms, date either side of crown, M.B.F. ET. H. REX. F.D. B.ET. L. D. S. R. I. A. T ET. E. 
 S.3727; Bull 681-(R3).
8.4 grams, 24.5 mm in diameter.
Lightly toned with some residual lustre, a bold good very fine for the type, with a bold portrait, an extremely rare date, “the key date for the type”!
